ID.3 is the first VW’s model based on MEB platform, that’s why it was especially important for the company to get good marks in crash tests. And the evaluation is high, even though it’s common for new electric vehicles which are quite easy to be integrated with safe passenger capsule.
ID.3 got 5 stars out of 5, even though specific results were not topping. Frontal crash evaluation brought 14.3 points out of 16, and the side crash - 11.4 points. Infants’ safety level is the point of admiration - all parameters are in the safest green zone.
