Automotive News shared a bit of Volkswagen plans according electric vehicles last weekend. The automaker will adapt its MEB platform to create several small EVs and reduce costs by one third compared to recently introduced ID.3. The aim is to keep the price below 20,000 Euro.
The report says that engineers are going to make MEB platform smaller. Additionally, some work is going on introducing smaller electric motors and new battery modules configuration.
