We already have many evidences of Tesla Autopilot becoming more advanced with time by machine learning. It is also true for a Smart Summon mode which allows Tesla cars to drive automatically on parking lots navigating to owners’ smartphone geo point.
Daniel Spalding, a Tesla Model 3 owner, tested the autopilot and Smart Summon capabilities while enabling it on a snow-covered parking. Parking lanes were not recognizable, and Daniel made it even more challenging by moving on the lot when Model 3 was driving on Autopilot. In such severe conditions Tesla Autopilot chosen to drive 1 mph to ensure the safest ride.
