Recently one of the largest Tesla tuners Unplugged Performance showed their sports kit for Tesla Model 3 that includes aerodynamic kit, adjustable suspension, sport brakes for track use, bucket seats and ultra-light forged wheels.
Fully equipped Model 3 were recently taken to the Tokyo Auto Show, and then transported to the famous Tsukuba racing track - Japanese automakers use it as a benchmark when testing vehicles.

WIth an amateur racing driver behind the wheel Tesla Model 3 Performance with UP kit managed to finish the best lap in 1:04.7 what is almost as fast as McLaren F1 (1:04.6) and quicker than Porsche 911 GT3 997 (1:04.8) and Audi R8 V10 (1:04.9). Though, the overall conditions were not on Tesla’s side: quite cold weather, lack of driver’s experience (he only had 20 laps to get used to the car and show some result) and road-legal Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
According to driver’s opinion UP’s Tesla may have been even faster with semi-slick tires for the track use. He forecasts Model 3 to hit 1:01-1:02 at the Tsukuba in such case.
