Gigafactory Texas is a critical project for Tesla — the automaker plans to produce here a variety of vehicles, including Cybertruck, Semi, Model 3 and Model Y, as well as batteries and 4680 cells. That’s why the factory is being constructed as quick as possible, just like it happens with Tesla in many cases. The first part of a new facility is expected to be launched this May with the production launch soon after.
Latest drone footage shows great progress in Giga Texas construction. Additionally, some recent sightings reported that Tesla already started delivering the production equipment to the factory, meaning that the launch is close.
