Last week Tesla officially confirmed launched new design-center in China, which would start developing a new model in a near future. Now it turns out that there would also be alike facility in Europe.
Most likely, the European design-center will be located at the Gigafactory 4 in Berlin, Germany. It would mean Tesla having three facilities responsible for designing new models — the ones in USA, China and Europe. Possibly, that would result in some special new models or trims created specially for those regions by local design teams, as an important part of the company’s global strategy.
