New generation of a Wall Connector was added to the official Tesla accessories store yesterday.
The charger has the same price of $500, and its specs also remain unchanged. Though, it looks a little different (however, it is still waterproof and may be installed outside). The most important thing in the upgrade is the possibility to connect Wall Connector to a WiFi spot.

Tesla claims that the connectivity will allow to monitor the process of charging, install over-the-air updates and contact technical support if necessary. Though all of that seems not so important to upgrade the charger - possibly there are other features coming.
