Recently Elon Musk came to Joe Rogan podcast for the third time. That means we are having several new details about upcoming Tesla vehicles. And one of the most intriguing is the Semi’s battery pack.
Talking to Rogan about the truck, Musk noted that Semi is expected to have about 500 kWh battery pack. That is quite small, since previously the semi truck was expected to have between 600 kWh to 1 MWh pack to match the declared specs.
However, it turned out that Musk was speaking about the base version of Semi which should have a 300 miles range. Probably, Semi capable of 500 miles range will have much bigger battery pack.
