China seems to become the first country where the coronavirus situation gets easier quite quickly. Despite all efforts, Tesla had to pause the Fremont production line, though Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai is actively preparing for the Model Y assembly launch.
According to Insideevs.com, Gigafactory 3 recently placed a huge order for electric components for Tesla Model Y from Joyson Ningbo Electronics - a major automotive supplier which already supplies Tesla with Model 3 parts. The total cost of the latest order got close to 220 million RMB or about $31 million.

Moreover, Insideevs source confirmed the Model 3 weekly production rate at Gigafactory 3 recently rised to 3,000 units from 2,000.
