Recently Elon Musk announced a special event for first Tesla Model S Plaid buyers for June 3. However, last week Musk said Tesla needs one more week to tweak the new car, and the event is pushed to June 10.
According to Tesla CEO they’d need some more time to finetune Model S with new tri-motor drivetrain. Moreover, Tesla’s developers worked on a new UI for new screens in flagship models and this may also be the case for a need of an additional tweak.
Though, Elon Musk is sure that it will be worth waiting. According to his Twitter, Model S Plaid ‘feels like a spaceship’ and words won’t describe the feel this car gives while driving.
