Tesla Navigate on Autopilot in real traffic — video

Navigate on Autopilot, that allows Tesla car perform lane changes autonomously while driving on autopilot, is probably one of the most advanced and important autopilot upgrades. While it’s active, the autopilot takes necessary lane changes in order to get to the point of destination and take the right highway exit.

Tesla Autopilot becomes better with each new update, and Navigate on Autopilot is not an exclusion. Even with last for today software version the lane changes are quite smooth and safe even in intense traffic.

Tesla Model 3 owner Scott Kubo demonstrated the Navigate on Autopilot with 2019.20.4.2 software on video, comparing the car’s actions with waltz. The driver claims he only keeps his hand on lower part of the steering wheel during the whole ride.
