Japanese Nikkei Business Publications made an experiment involving several automakers’ engineers. The point was to take the car apart and analyze the technologies inside.

As a result, engineers were quite impressed with the electric sedan’s tech. For instance, after a thorough examination of its integrated center control unit, the so-called ‘autopilot computer’, one of the greatest Japanese automaker’s representatives stated that their company can’t do anything like that today. It’s not that surprising if you know that Tesla’s computer may manage 144 trillion operations per second.

Nikkei estimated, that other automakers including VW and Toyota would be capable of making at least the same electronics not earlier than in 2025.
