Tesla Model 3 owner from California locked burglar in the car

The possibility of managing the vehicle remotely via the mobile app not only makes Tesla very convenient in daily routing, but may also save its owners lives and property.

Back to May 8 a Tesla Model 3 owners called to a police department in Barstow, California, saying that he got attacked by a street burglar. The criminal ran into his car, opened the driver’s door and convinced to hand him the car. Tesla owner decided to avoid the risk and stepped out of his Model 3.

Though, as soon as the car moved with burglar behind the wheel, he turned it off and locked the doors via Tesla app. When the police came to the crime scene, they found suspect still being inside the car shocked and showing the signs of drug intoxication. Probably, he didn’t notice the small buttons of door locks because of being high.
