There was no fire
The pictures of this Model 3’s battery pack were shared by Reddit member Yaro_S who rebuilds crashed Tesla cars.
The car where this battery was mounted experienced a high-speed crash into the pole. The hit was so strong that the front motor was bumped to the floor near the driver’s seat and two battery modules were ripped off.
Luckily, the battery pack did not catch fire after such severe crash. The examination showed one cell having a sign of high temperature, though instead of catching fire it just started to melt.
