In the end of last week Tesla released its Q1 2021 report with production and delivery numbers for first 3 months of 2021. And the figures say we can congratulate Tesla with a new record quarter.

Usually, Q1 is the worst quarter of the year for automakers with low deliveries number following the pre-Christmas push. Moreover, this year Tesla had to pause the production line in Fremont for a refreshed Model S/X retooling.

Nevertheless, first months of 2021 became not only the best Q1 for Tesla so far, but also brought the overall delivery record. The report says 180,338 vehicles were produced and 184,800 were delivered in Q1 2021.

the automaker notices massive interest for a refreshed flagship models, and a ‘warm welcome’ of a Model Y in China.

What is even more exciting, the upcoming quarters may become even better for Tesla, since the company plans for launch two new Gigafactories - in the US and in Germany, and ramp up the 4680 battery cells production.
