Tesla dashcam now records video from side cameras

The latest for today version of Tesla software contains Sentry Mode, that grabs very much attention - so much that another great feature was almost skipped.

The opportunity to use Autopilot cameras as the dashcam was granted to Tesla owners last year. Though, it was possible to record video only from the front facing narrow camera, that is not enough in some cases. Now the latest software update brings the possibility to record video from the side cameras.

Such advanced opportunity helps to get the more precise picture of a traffic situation around the car, that may be useful in analyzing the road accidents data. To save the last 10 minutes of recorded video, simply tap the recording icon on Tesla's main screen.
