Here’s another case of Tesla Autopilot claiming it may improve safety on roads. The video is shot by ALL Electric Youtube-channel owner.
Author’s Tesla Model 3 features the 2020.20.12 software, and everything happened when it was going 35 mph (approx. 60 km/h). The electric car’s Autopilot sensors detected a pedestrian crossing the road and smoothly slowed down the vehicle in advance, leaving a good range for some avoidance move in case it was necessary. The driver wasn’t interrupting the process - it all happened absolutely automatically.
