Back to the first made in China Model 3 launch event a few weeks ago, Elon Musk shared the idea of deploying a new design center in China that will create a totally new model, which would be delivered worldwide.
Today Tesla officially confirmed that information. The company shared the announcement in its Wechat page with a call to apply for jobs at the upcoming facility.

The posting is supported with Chinese art-inspired pictures featuring various Tesla models. Unexpectedly one of those images contain the design drawing never seen before. It may be one of the early Model Y sketches, as well as a hint for the new model that would be designed in China. Quite possibly such hatchback or super compact SUV would be popular globally.
