Following the strategy introduced by Tesla, Rivian is aiming to deploy its own charging network. While talking to TechCrunch, Rivian CEO claimed that apart from regular places like cities and highways, the company is also considering some not so common areas to install its chargers.
Since Rivian R1T and R1S are created for people who love adventures, this is exactly what the automaker is focusing: charging stations are going to be deployed in places like hiking, kayaking, biking, climbing and other spots. This way Rivian aims to bring very special experience and treatment to their customers.
