Euro NCAP recently published the report of Porsche’s first electric car safety. Successfully passed all crash tests, Taycan gained the highest 5-stars rating.
Taycan got 85 points of 100 for adult passengers safety, 83 for children occupants, 70 for pedestrians safety and 73 for driver’s assistance systems. Just to notice, Taycan’s main competition Tesla Model S got a bit smaller score, though Euro NCAP tested 2014 model. Newer Model 3 and Model Y of 2019 model year showed better safety performance, becoming the safest cars Euro NCAP tested.
