Porsche greenlights electric SUV for production

The electric car will be based on Mission E Cross Turismo concept.


Porsche Mission E Cross Turismo was shown for the first time at the last Geneva Motor Show. Back to the exhibition, Porsche did not claim any plans for the EV production, despite great interest expressed by public.

After analyzing the Cross Turismo concept's early success, a few days ago Porsche's Supervisory Board greenlighted the electric car for production.

So far there is no any technical data or launch date available. Most likely, the SUV will be based on Taycan platform, that is supposed to enter market next year.
