Polestar - Volvo and Geely-owned electric cars producer - released the MSRP pricing for its new Polestar 2 sedan and launched the online configurator. By the way, the car’s purchase price turned out to be lower than expected.

For instance, Polestar 2 is priced £49,900 in the UK, €58,000 in Germany, Belgium and The Netherlands, and $59,900 in the US. By the way, earlier Polestar stated $63,000 as the expected price in the US.

Polestar 2 online configurator offers several additional features. For example, the Performance Pack ($5,000) with upgraded suspension and brakes, Nappa leather interior ($4,000) and 20-inch light-alloy wheels ($1,200).

Polestar 2 production began in March 2020. First deliveries for reservation holders are expected in summer. The electric car is equipped with 78 kWh battery pack, 408 hp total power motors and is able to travel 275 miles (450 km) on a single charge.
