Lotus named its first electric car Evija and released a new video teaser

Lotus prepares their first all-electric hypercar (previously named Type 130) for the launch scheduled on July 16. Last week automaker released a new teasing video unveiling the car's name - Evija.

Lotus CEO Phil Popham doesn't hide their high expectations from the new car - it is Lotus' first hypercar, first electric car and first car built under the Geely patronage, yet being "a Lotus like no other, yet a true Lotus in every sense".
