Hyundai plans to unveil IONIQ 5 this February - it’s going to be the first model of a new ‘electric’ sub-brand. IONIQ 5 is a mid-size CUV that is going to enter production just a few months after the unveiling to be the first IONIQ model.
Last week Korean automaker showed some new images of a new EV. Moreover, Hyundai launched the pre-order page by mistake earlier than expected, leaking the IONIQ 5’s specs. According to the data leaked, the car should be equipped with two electric motors with total output of 313 PS, WLTP range should reach 450 km and 0-100 km/h acceleration - 5.2 seconds. 20% to 80% charging should take only 15 minutes using DC fast charging.
