Honda’s VP told Autocar that the automaker is about to stop selling non-electrified vehicles in Europe in the end of 2021. Afterwards, Honda’s European presence will consist only of electric cars and hybrids.

Today Honda e hatchback is the only all-electric model on the European market. Earlier this year Honda claimed to introduce new EV in 2022.

Honda is still one of the automakers without clear electrification strategy. This year Japanese automaker joined CO2 emission pool with Tesla, paying the latter to avoid EU fines for emissions credits.
