Honda's new EV prototype is spotted on road test

The car reminds of Honda's sensational retro-designed concept


Several pictures of camouflaged Honda hatchback prototype on road tests appeared in Internet last weekend. The car looks very close to Urban EV concept, showed last year at Frankfurt Motorshow.

According to the signs visible through camouflage (for instance, body dimensions and round headlights with integrated DRLs), the electric car keeps retro-inspired design. Additionally, the prototype lacks side mirrors - instead, there are two cameras mounted on the car's sides.



Previously Honda claimed a production version of Urban EV concept to enter the market in 2019. The car is expected in Japan, Europe and North America.
