Despite all incredible effort put by Ford’s team who worked on Mach-E remotely during pandemic, the production car will finally be delayed. Though, the delay won’t be as dramatic as it could be.

According to the Mach-E owners forum, European customers are receiving messages from Ford saying that the launch of the EV deliveries in Europe are delayed to the early 2021. However, Mustang Mach-E for the US market is still going as planned - its launch scheduled on late 2020.

Ford Mach-E will be produced at Ford’s plant in Mexico. Ford also noted that the US was always getting new models before Europe. Though, the official message says that European-spec Mach-E deliveries delay is happening due to the shelter-in-place restrictions.
