Last week Ford unveiled F-150 Lightning, and the electric pickup truck was a pleasant surprise in terms of its specs. Though, it turns out the electric truck is even better than expected.
Youtuber Marques Brownlee just tested the electric F-150 Lightning and revealed that the announced range of 300 miles (480 km) in top version was estimated with a 1,000 lbs of cargo placed on the truck’s flatbed.
According to Brownlee, the F-150 Lightning he had on a test was showing 367 miles of range left while having a 80% state of charge. That means the fully-charged truck should have a range of approximately 400 miles (or 640 km).
