JATO Dynamics published new cars sales volume in Europe for September 2020. Statistics is quite impressive — total electrified cars (including EVs, hybrids and plug-in hybrids) sales volume was higher than that of diesel cars for the first time in European automotive market history.
The difference is really minor — 25% against 24.8%. But it still illustrates the trend.
Another success in the EV segment is held by Tesla. Model 3 became the bestseller among electrified cars, showing higher sales volume than hybrid Toyota Corolla for the first time.
