Electric MINI towing a 150-ton Boeing 777F [video]

Is any gas-powered MINI able to do the same?


 The idea of electric car (or some mighty ICE-powered car) towing a huge aircraft is not so fresh - for example, last year Tesla Model X P100D performed such trick with 143-ton 787-900.

However, we bet you didn't expect the same from a tiny and stylish MINI hatchback. This weekend the automaker released a video of Cooper SE pulling a 150-ton Boeing 777F (a cargo version of 777) in Frankfurt, Germany.

According to the rumors, Cooper SE will be equipped with electric motor with 270 Nm of torque and 44 kWh battery pack from BMW i3s.
