Legendary Italian automaker Maserati recently announced their own electric drivetrain. The company claims it owns 100% of technology behind it. Now the test mules equipped with the drivetrain are going through intensive test drives at the Maserati research lab, on a racing track and on public roads. The automaker claims the upcoming generations of GranTurismo coupe and GranCabrio to be the first models to get it in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
