Audi goes on with electric SUVs - Q4 e-tron design unveiled

Audi is preparing for a volume-production of e-tron quattro all-electric SUV, that starts this year. However, it seems that e-tron quattro is getting a fellow soon.

Q4 e-tron concept is promised to be shown at the Geneva Motorshow this spring, while the automaker released several design sketches of an upcoming premiere last weekend.

Audi claims in the release, that Q4 e-tron is going to be a more compact SUV than e-tron quattro. Previously Andreas Mindt, Head Exterior Design at Audi, also noted, that unlike the e-tron quattro, Q4 is going to be based on VW's MEB platform.

According to official data, Q4 e-tron volume production starts in late 2020/early 2021.
