All-electric Ford F-150 prototype towed over 1 million lbs

Ford is planning a huge leap forward to electric cars in nearest years. One of the most importatnt parts of the program is going to be the US popular F-150 pickup truck. The all-electric F-150 prototype is already built and recently the automaker shared an impressive video showing the truck's capacity.

To demonstrate the F-150 capabilities Ford made a tough experiment - the electric pickup had to tow several train carts filled with other F-150 pickups. The total weight of the train was over 1,250,000 lb (560 tons)! Watch the video to see how the electric F-150 managed to do the task:
