A new teaser of Polestar 2 showcased two weeks ahead the unveiling

Volvo rebranded their subsidiary Polestar two years ago, and now they are going to release their first all-electric Polestar 2 model at the end of February at Polestar’s global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Polestar 2 is actually the second Polestar's model, following the Polestar 1 - plug-in hybrid GT coupe. The automaker claims Polestar 2 is aimed to be the Tesla Model 3 competitor.

Apart from a new picture of Polestar 2, the company unveiled some specs of an upcoming EV:
- ~300 miles of range (final specs to be announced shortly)
- ~400 HP (final specs to be announced shortly)
- Four-door fastback body type
- Google Android HMI user-interface shell

Besides cash sales, Polestar 2 will also be available on subscription - the same as Care by Volvo program.
