Recently AAA made a research with over 40,000 EV taking part. The following results are fully fair for the US drivers, though the general trend might be applicable for almost any region where electric cars are sold.
71% of EV owners asked are currently driving their first electric car. Considering that check out the next figure - 96% of EV owners are willing to purchase another electric car as their next vehicle. 87% prefer driving electric over any other car - they first consider their EVs even having at least one car with gas engine in the household.

Considering the range anxiety, AAA’s research claims quite surprising for EV antagonists statistics. 95% of owners never ran out of charge while driving their cars, however, 75% of EV drivers charge their cars only at home and never use public chargers. The average daily mileage counts for approximately 39 miles (about 60 kilometers).
