At the first days of 2020 Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai reportedly reached the capacity of over 1,000 Model 3 produced per week. The pace is more amazing if you remember that they’ve only broke ground at the construction site exactly a year ago.
There was a special event held on January 7 where first Chinese-made Model 3 were handed to their owners, and right before that Tesla shot the video inside a new factory. It features the production line, painting area, batteries assembly and final inspection.
