Tesla skeptics have a belief that electric cars are almost useless in severe winter conditions. For instance, when doors, door handles, windows and charge port are covered with ice.
Tesla Model 3 owner Trevor Page from Ontario, Canada, got into such difficulties. After the surprisingly warm weather and rain the day before, the temperature dropped dramatically overnight, causing the car being completely frozen.
Though, Tesla Pre-Heat saved the day. It literally warmed the car already in 30 minutes, and in an hour there was completely nothing to worry about. Scheduled Departure feature is yet another Tesla’s major advantage, that allows to pre-heat the car right before the planned commute.
