There were many rumors around the new Tesla factory in Europe, which is quite logical assuming rising demand for Tesla cars in the region. Earlier this year Elon Musk claimed the company search for an appropriate location considering the business needs. Finally it seems the place was found.
Earlier this week while taking the Golden Wheel award granted to Tesla Model 3, Elon Musk stated the Gigafactory 4 to be constructed within Berlin city area near the new airport. Apart from the vehicle assembly there is also the design and engineering center in the plan.
Notably, there already are several job positions opened in Germany referring to the Gigafactory 4. Previously Musk said that he expects the European facility to start operation by the end of 2021.
