Czech automaker Skoda revealed main specs of its Enyaq electric SUV ahead of unveiling

 About a month left to the Skoda Enyaq launch event - Czech automaker is going to unveil its new electric vehicle on September 1 online. By the way, Enyaq will be the first vehicle based on VW’s MEB platform made outside of Germany.

Czech SUV is based on the same platform as VW ID.4 (though the latter is not yet scheduled for unveiling). Last week Skoda published Enyaq’s specs, including the drivetrain data, battery packs and available range. So, there is going to be five various trims available:

— Enyaq 50 is equipped with on rear-mounted 148 hp electric motor, 50 kWh battery pack and 340 km of WLTP range;

— Enyaq 60 also features one motor, yet it is more powerful with 180 hp output. The battery pack is also bigger - 62 kWh unit assures 390 km of range;

— Enyaq 80 is another RWD trim with 204 hp motor and 82 kWh battery pack, 500 km range;

— Enyaq 80X is all-wheel drive vehicle with two motors with total output of 265 hp, featuring 82 kWh battery pack and 460 km range;

— Enyaq vRS is a top version with AWD, 306 hp output and the same 82 kWh battery with 460 km range.

As well, Skoda announced that Enyaq would have a 13-inch central touchscreen and head-up display with AR functionality.
