Biohacking blogger implanted the RFID chip into her arm to unlock her Tesla Model 3

Tesla Model 3 may be unlocked in several ways - via smartphone Bluetooth connection, the key fob or the plastic keycard. The latter’s RFID chip was used by biohacking blogger Amie DD. 


Although the whole story may sound a bit terrific (how often do you inject some piece of technology under your skin?), though it is absolutely the same as implants injected into pets to identify them. 


Basically, Amie DD extracted the RFID chip from her Model 3’s keycard, and then encapsulated it into a biopolymer which might be injected into her arm. As a result, she may open her car without any additional stuff - she just needs to put her arm close to the car’s pillar.
